Since it has been a little while since my last post let me
bring you up to speed…. On January 2 Ryan and I moved into our new home. It is
a 2 bedroom flat on the top of a hill with balconies that overlook a park. We
are about a 15-minute walk from downtown. Since we don’t have our furniture yet
we have borrowed Army furniture.

On Friday, January 4 our first shipment of
belongings arrived. It was such a blessing as this shipment contained plates,
silverware, blankets, hangers, and other much needed items.

We finally were
able to get Internet service set up in our new home on Saturday, January 12. It
feels good to be connected again. I have spent most of my time in our new place
cleaning and trying to unpack as much as possible before the rest of our
possessions arrive. Ryan continues to learn the ropes and is anxious as this
week he will be taking on more leadership and responsibility.
