Hello Everyone! It has been a long time since I have last posted anything on the blog, so let me bring you up to speed.....
Ryan has been putting in some long days at the office and on the road. He is now officially on his own in the office. He has lots of different projects going on in Germany, Italy, and Belgium. He is often out of the office going to meetings and visiting different sites. On Friday he went to Stuttgart, Germany for a meeting regarding one of the projects going on there. I was able to tag along for the day. Even though I was not able to attend the meeting I was able to meet some new people. I enjoyed talking to the office staff while Ryan was busy with his meetings. It sounds like there will be a ski trip to the Swiss Alps in the not so distant future. In March Ryan will be making a site visit to his project that is progressing in Italy.
I have been planning our February trip to Prague and taking care of Ryan. Since there is currently a hiring freeze for many government jobs it is difficult to find a job right now. I am in the process of becoming a volunteer with the Red Cross. I will attend orientation on the 21st of February and I should have more information on what I might be doing for the Red Cross following the orientation. Volunteering will give me something else to do and might open the door to other employment opportunities in the future.
We are very excited that our furniture and house hold goods are scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday!!!! YAY! More to come soon.....
